Continuing our feature on the crew behind link coworking, meet our community manager- Stormy.
Stormy started off her journey at Link Coworking as an operations intern her senior year of college. Upon graduating she took a full time position as Link’s community manager and has been drinking from the coworking firehose since. When she is not working on Link, Too or Flex she is producing GCUC- the worlds largest coworking conference series.
Here’s a bit about Stormy…
What did you study in school?
Funny enough- I was dead set on law school so I majored in political science and had a minor in Criminal justice.
What is your favorite food?
Thai food or tacos. Full toss up. I eat both at least once a week. No shame.
What was your first job?
I got my 1st job when I was barely 16 and I was a summer camp counselor. I did it every year until I was a sophomore in college.
What brought you to Austin?
College. I am originally from Dallas but once I graduated I found a job here!
What is your standard coffee order?
In the summer its an Iced dopio with 2 pumps mocha. In the winter I am all about the peppermint mocha. Mocha all of the things.
What is your role at Link?
Chief Operations Unicorn? Kidding but only kind of. Technically I am the Community and Operations manager. I wear a lot of hats here. We run on a lean team so on any given day I am working on marketing, social media strategy, contracts, event coordination, member relations, you name it.
What are you passionate about?
Helping others, weenie dogs, good communication skills, coffee, tacos & event planning. I feel like that safely covers all of the bases.
